Lips in New York City is well known for its drag queens, lively shows (personally, my favorite performance was “My Vagina is 8 Miles Wide”), and frozen cosmos. With a group of 15 girls going out for my birthday, I decided to make a reservation at the drag restaurant. We all had a blast, from the hysterical dancing and singing acts, outrageous costumes, penis and vagina balloon hats, and knee-slapping jokes. Just note: if you’re planning on visiting this place on the weekend you will end up spending a lot of money, especially if you have a large group. They have better deals during the week and no cover charges, so if you can, go on a weeknight. Also note that you should not go here if you want a good meal and great service. Instead, go to laugh and have an interesting night of eroticism and drag queens!
