Mexico is the perfect destination if you´re looking for a tropical climate, natural beauty and rich heritage. Whatever your preference, Mexico has the place, you just have to find the destination that is right for you.
Riviera Maya stretches along Mexico’s Caribbean coast. Previously home to small fishing villages, it has now been transformed into a modern tourist resort consisting of trendy restaurants, golf complexes, spa retreats and nightlife. If you´re looking for relaxation you can spend the day on one of the beautiful white sandy beaches and take a dip in the crystal clear turquoise water. It is also one of the top destinations in the world for snorkeling and scuba diving due to the abundance of marine life. Playa del Carmen is a popular tourist town at the heart of Riviera Maya, perfect for shopping and nightlife. Venture inland to see traditional Mayan villages as well as the incredibly preserved Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza.
Los Cabos has two distinctively different towns. The first, San Jose de Cabo, is an authentic Mexican town home to narrow cobbled streets, hole in the wall eateries and a traditional central Plaza. This is where the best of laid back Mexican culture can be experienced. The second, Cabo San Lucas, is the party town with many stylish bars and nightclubs. The highway, named the corridor, connects the two and is the place where some of best all inclusive resorts in Mexico can be found, as well as luxury spas, golf course and beaches. Los Cabos is a great destination to experience both relaxation and excitement.
Cancun was built for tourism. Retaining its traditional Mexican charm it also has modern infrastructure and amenities, welcoming more than 3.3 million tourists every year. Cancun is famous for being the pinnacle of spring break festivities when thousands of college and high school students for the USA flock to enjoy the sun, sea and nightlife. However, Cancun has more to offer than just partying and sunbathing. It was part of the ancient Mayan civilization and therefore many archeological sites can be discovered. It is also a draw for nature-lovers as it’s home to exotic flora and fauna. Additionally, snorkeling is one the most popular past times with vast coral reefs and rare marine species.
Puerto Vallarta is a popular tourist resort on the west coast of Mexico, facing the Pacific Ocean. Its boundaries create great scenery. Sitting in the middle of the Banderas Bay — Mexico’s largest bay — it offers pristine beaches, clear waters and nightlife. To the east it lies at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains, which is a sanctuary for wildlife and where each year humpback whales flock to deliver their young. To the south is the laid back resort of Zona Romantica where the area’s best restaurants can be found as well as the popular beach of Playa los Muertos.
