I welcome anyone with a story to tell to submit an article to Jessie on a Journey. Both original stories and already published content on your own blog are accepted. Before submitting, please make sure your article is in line with the brand. Some ideas include offbeat travel guides, quirky roundups, travel tips, evergreen articles, New York discoveries, humorous anecdotes, solo travel, female travel, responsible tourism and backpacking pieces, travelogues, inside looks into foreign cultures, inspirational articles that encourage people to live their fullest life, travel videos, photo essays, posts on unique travel experiences and anything else you think someone seeking out transformative travel experiences would be interested in.
If you have any questions, please email jessieonajourney (at) gmail (dot) com.
- With all submission please make sure to include your bio at the bottom of the post.
- For images, a minimum width of 600 pixels and a minimum height of 300 pixels is required. Images should not be larger than 1000 pixels wide or high. Please include all necessary image attributions, and only use images that you own, you were given permission to use or are Creative Commons licensed. We prefer high resolution photos. All posts must have at least one image for every 500 words.
- Please upload posts using html format. Click here for common html codes. If you’re still confused, use your own WordPress website and write your draft and upload photos and links in there. Then, switch from the “Visual” tab to the “Text” tab and copy and paste that into the form below.
If you are writing on behalf of a company or are a marketing rep looking to place client links on the site you need to email Jessica Festa at jessieonajourney (at) gmail (dot) com. These articles will NOT be published through this form, and if you try to upload them via this form you will be added to a list of partners I will not work with. If you would like to promote your client, partner with us or do business with us please contact us through the proper channels — email or social media — first.
