Travel ASMR: A Tingly Bhutan Hotel Check-In [Video]

In this week’s Travel ASMR video, you’ll be heading to Bhutan, a Buddhism Kingdom famed for its well-preserved culture, 72% forest-covered mountainous landscapes and myriad ornate temples. Our hotel specializes in crafting travel itineraries suited to guest desires, pampering guests with local spa treatments, providing beautiful views (I’ll show you mine from my actual hotel room) and presenting guests with hand-made local treasures.  Some ASMR triggers used in this video include whispering, tapping, soft spa chat, keyboard typing and personal attention.

This soft spoken / whisper video is actually filmed in Bhutan, so you’ll also get some authenticity as well as some knowledge imparted that I’ve learned so far on my trip.

If you’ve never seen an autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) video before it may be a bit weird at first, as ASMR is a phenomenon not everyone experiences; however, those of us who do know how powerful it can be for stress relief, inducing sleep and relaxation through whisper / soft speaking, gentle touches and tingle-worthy sounds. You can read more about ASMR here, as well as how I use it to relax on the road here.

As always, comments are appreciated under the video in YouTube. And if you like what you see, please subscribe!

Have you been to Bhutan? What was your favorite experience? Please share in the comments below (or provide a link to a whisper video of your own)!
